debut EP from Al Cologne out now!

With any luck 2026 is shaping up well for you. Now that the grey is starting to thaw and the music industry has it’s Out-Of-Office disengaged (until May at least) we can start cutting into the year. There will be EP’s, LP’s, shows and tours that will all be announced in due course, but we’ll get things started off with the release of milk teeth, the debut EP from Al Cologne. And a reminder that this Friday is Bandcamp Friday, meaning that our artists earn more from their sales on Bandcamp than they normally would. See what we have on offer over on our Bandcamp page.

Hopefully you will be familiar with Al Cologne by now, either through one of the shows we hosted in the latter half of last year, or through the singles we have recently released with them (see; milk teeth, juliette, and talking to you), or through Radio One, where they have been receiving rave reviews from Jess Iszatt at BBC Introducing. But if not, then let this be an introduction.

A powerfully diaristic debut EP brimming with ear-worms. Says the press release - “Cologne’s songwriting draws from years of personal notes and half-formed recordings… The work is rooted in observation and emotional honesty, favouring feeling over polish and leaving space for ambiguity. There are touchstones in the orbit of Angel Olsen, Sharon Van Etten, Big Thief and Faye Webster, but Cologne’s voice remains distinctly their own.”

The EP is available to order now on very limited hand cut 10” vinyl, shipping around March 20th. There is also a cassette tape, currently out of stock. If there is demand then we will press some more. AND they will be performing their very first headline show, at The Shacklewell Arms in London on March 20th. Tickets available on DICE now. ENJOY.
