Hello hello hello. Happy June to you all, and a happy release day to Of Iyrn (see below). It is summer in the city, productivity is waning but music is sounding sweeter than ever. I’ve been to the post office a lot this past month, so thanks to everyone who’s been ordering from us, especially those of you in Australia and the US who have braved the extortionate shipping costs - I put a little extra love and good will into your packages in the hope that they make it to you in good shape. BURY ME - OF IYRN (OUT TODAY)

The brilliant debut EP from London-via-Black Country group Of Iyrn is out today. You can stream it everywhere, or we have a few (and I mean a few) limited edition hand-cut 10” EP’s available on our website/bandcamp or at the band’s shows. This is a stunning first release, produced by Joe Futak at Total Refreshment Centre in Dalston and featuring a number of guest contributions from the London scene. As a collection of songs, they burn slow and leave a lasting impression - insightful lyrics, silky vocals that move effortlessly between English and Portuguese, and dynamic instrumentation that swells and crescendos. These guys deserve a lot of love.

The band are on tour at the moment, with dates remaining in London (The Social on Friday 5th) and Stourbridge (Claptrap on the 6th)

LO - DUNCE (JUNE 19TH)

Ahead of its release later this month you can now stream the title track from DUNCE’s upcoming album Lo. Out in full on June 19th digitally and on limited edition cassette, the album is in many ways a love letter to London, where the artist has resided for most of his adult life. The experimental motifs reflect the the cities architecture, the DLR, the towering glass metropolis, and the world of creativity that strives to exist in amongst it all. Essential listening.

JOHN (REVISITED) - THE GOLDEN DREGS feat. AL COLOGNE (OUT NOW)

Number six in the ongoing series of revisits, this time inviting the delicate vocals of label-mate Al Cologne to re-interpret the 2019 standalone single John. We will be doing a physical run of this series of releases - if you’re interested then let us know so we can figure out the best way of doing so.
