this will be the last joy of life intl. correspondence of 2025, a book end to what has been an enlightening twelve months as i have begun to establish this here label. and an ambitious start too - working with nine artists to release four full length albums, an ep and a generous handful of singles. the last few months in particular have been stacked, as i don’t doubt you’ll have noticed. and, i hope it’s not gone unnoticed that there has been no dip in quality. my heartfelt thanks to ohtis, sculpture park, vogues, perfect binding, dunce, lichen, al cologne and of iyrn for putting their trust in this and suspending their expectations for the sake of building something meaningful. it is just the beginning, but that feels like a good place to be. next year is looking bright, thank you for joining us

TENDER MERCIES - VOGUES (OUT NOW)

the brilliant and eagerly anticipated debut album from london polymath vogues was released last friday, and we celebrated the launch in style with a sold out launch show at the theatreship, canary wharf. there’s a feeling drifting through tender mercies of looking back at a version of yourself with equal parts benevolence, curiosity, and amusement. it’s a rich, personal document that explores self-perception, gender and sexuality through shifting textures, emotional candour, and a camp, kitsch sense of play - don’t sleep on it. there’s a limited edition double embroidered hat and 10 piece 4”x4” art print set also available.

NADA MAIS - OF IYRN (OUT NOW)

the second single from the black country-via-london group, and their first in portugese. we’ve not cracked the brazilian market yet, but all in good time. this song blows me away, as it will you. listen again and again and again. more to come from these guys

JULIETTE - AL COLOGNE (OUT NOW, EP OUT MARCH)

the second single from al cologne. julliette is thudding floor toms and driving bass guitar and a sweet and tender vocal from our favourite kitchen sink songwriter. we have also announced their debut ep milk teeth which will be with us in march, you can pre-order now on ltd edition hand-cut 10” or translucent green cassette.
